Because there are several other authors named "David Alexander," Mr. Alexander writes under the pen name "David Grace" in order
to avoid confusion.
Mr. Alexander primarily writes crime novels and an occasional science
fiction short story.
He has written screenplay versions of the following of his novels: The Concrete
Kiss, Etched In Bone, Doll's Eyes, Stolen Angel, The Traitor's Mistress, True Faith, A Death In Beverly Hills, Daniel, Death
Never Sleeps and Shooting Crows At Dawn. He also has written the following original screenplays: Dreamboat, Champion's Season and First Star Ship.
Mr. Alexander shared the story credit for the Outer Limits episode, Joyride,
starring Cliff Robertson. Several of his short stories have been published in Analog Magazine and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery
Magazine as well as the following novels origionally published under the "David Alexander" name and later re-titled and re-published
under the "David Grace" name: Fane (renamed The Accidental Magician), My Real Name Is Lisa (renamed Stolen Angel) and The Eyes
Of The Blind (renamed True Faith).
Mr. Alexander's first novel, now out of print, was The Chocolate
Spy, published by Coward, McCann & Geoghegan, NYC, 1978.
His most recent novel is The Wrong Side
Of A Gun. His previous novel was Death Doesn't Care. His novel prior to that was Death Never Lies. Death Doesn't Care is a sequel
to Death Never Sleeps.
